MEDIUM TO LOW FERTILITY
LOW PERCENTAGE OF ORGANIC MATERIAL. VERY PERMEABLE WITH LOW SALT CONTENT.
WEATHER:
COLD WINTERS AND WARM SUMMERS WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES DURING THE DAY AND COOL NIGHTS. DURING THE VEGETATIVE SEASON THERE IS A DIFFERENCE OF TEMPERATURE BETWEEN DAY AND NIGHT OF 15 degrees C APROX., ALLOWING EXCELLENT COLOR AND TANNIN DEVELOPMENT.
HARVEST:
MANUALLY HARVESTED. THE MALBEC IS PICKED FROM APRIL 6TH TO 19TH, THE CABERNET SAUVIGNON AROUND APRIL 20TH AND THE MERLOT ON 20TH OF MARCH.
AGING:
I00% AGED IN FRENCH OAK BARRELS DURING I2 MONTHS.
1O MONTHS IN BOTTLE BEFORE ITS RELEASE INTO THE MARKET.
TASTING NOTES:
INTENSE RUBY RED COLOR WITH DEEP BLACK REFLECTION. INTENSE AROMA OF SWEET RED FRUITS, DRY FRUITS, SMOKE, CASSIS AND CLOVE. IN THE MOUTH IT HAS A SWEET FIRST FEELING WITH SOFT AND INTENSE TANNINS, WITH A LONG AND GENTLE FINISH.
